SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

The Operations Support is responsible for supporting daily operations across the company through shop maintenance, tree farm upkeep, material handling, and division support as needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes initiative, and is willing to assist wherever needed to help operations run smoothly. Responsibilities may vary day-to-day and include maintaining the shop and yard areas, assisting field divisions, operating equipment, and supporting the overall organization and cleanliness of company properties. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support the care and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and tree farm property
2. Operate equipment including skid steers, tractors, mowers, and string trimmers (training provided)
3. Assist with watering, pruning, mowing, topsoil screening, and material movement throughout the property
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, parking lot, plant staging areas, and surrounding grounds
5. Perform basic equipment upkeep including greasing equipment and emptying trash bins
6. Run parts and materials to crews or job sites as needed
7. Provide support to various divisions when additional help is needed
8. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
2. Willingness to learn and operate heavy equipment (training provided)
3. Ability to work in an outdoor environment
4. Comfortable working alone for extended periods
5. Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized space
6. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
7. Flexible schedule and ability to manage time effectively
8. Maintain good attendance and reliability
