Ready to lead, not just mow? We're looking for an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader who can manage a crew, deliver exceptional results, and keep operations running smoothly. This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality work, accountability, and developing others.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
A lawn maintenance crew leader is responsible for overseeing lawn maintenance crews while assisting in the maintenance of both commercial and residential properties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee lawn project from start to finish
- Lead others and delegate lawn maintenance tasks
- Commercial and residential mowing
- Use of hand tools including power equipment (i.e. string trimmers, stick edgers, blowers).
- Pruning shrubbery and trees
- Engage in positive interactions with customers and homeowners
- Serves as a reliable source of contact throughout the day
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- State of Michigan Chauffeur's license preferred
- DOT medical card preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor environment
- Attention to detail and detail oriented
- Delivers quality work and services
- Lift heavy objects for prolonged periods of time
- Maintain a steady pace throughout day in extreme weather conditions
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Maintain good attendance and report to work on time everyday
